On the evening of September 12, 2017, the SFACS "Sino-French Architectural Communication Society", Huajian Group East China Architectural Design and Research Institute, "A +" magazine and Archina "Architecture China, jointly organized the lecture with the theme "From Energy-saving Buildings to Negative Carbon Buildings " which took place in the East China Institute.
Huajian Group East China Architectural Design and Research Institute's chief architect Mr. Wang Xiaoan first delivered a speech, LM Ingénieur Firm founder, French hemp concrete practitioners Laurent Mouly, Huajian Group East China Architectural Design and Research Institute Designer Assistant Mr. Lu Chao, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Jianke Building Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Zhuling and Mr. Zhang Jianwen, Chairman of Shanghai Hehe New Material Technology Co., Ltd., has shared with each other their experience in the field of green building.
Mr. Laurent Mouly, with the theme of "Post-Carbon Age", has demonstrated his experience in the use of negative carbon architecture, especially hemp concrete, in France for more than 10 years. He showed the importance of developing recyclable building materials in today's climate of warming, air pollution and natural disasters. He uses life-cycle analysis to reflect the impact of building materials on human which focused on the use of sustainable energy in the construction process. He also shared his mature practical experience in energy recovery and reuse during the construction process and the use of biological source materials to reduce energy consumption.
East China Institute's architect Mr. Lu Chao, shared his design ideas and feelings in the green building creation through his own local typical green building project. He believes that China's traditional architecture from beginning to end reflects a long and simple ecological concepts, such as China's various regions according to different climate, resources, customs, the environment designed its unique architectural style, embodies the harmonious coexistence of architecture and the environment. To implement the project, he advocated the green building which is "visible, tangible, able to experience", concerned about different states of green building. At the same time, Lu Chao believes that in addition to the pursuit of technical aspects of green building, we should also consider the user's psychological and use aspects, to meet the national scoring standards. Besides, the social effects should also be fully considered in the green building design.
Mr. Zheng Zhu Ling showed us the positive impact of energy consumption data in green energy-saving buildings. As an important part of the post-construction phase of operation, energy consumption testing can guide the focus of work follow-up and improve the direction, which is the active role of energy monitoring over the years. Through the various dimensions of data collection and analysis of Shanghai local architecture, he showed the current building energy consumption problems and their improvement directions.
In the next roundtable discussion session, Mr. Li Liguo, president of SFACS Sino-French Architectural Communication Society, as the host, leaded a further discussion about the use of innovating technologies and raw materials. Mr. Zhang Jianwen made a detailed elaboration on the situation, the problem and the prospect in the use of straw recycling.
